Hugo Cabret
Today in class, we will be visiting illustrators sites. I urge you to look at the work of Brain Selznick who wrote and illustrated the Caldecott award winning book The Invention of Hugo Cabret. This book is written for older children, however it won the Caldecott for its illustartions. I will share it with you today.

The class meeting we had in the computer lab was very helpful. Now, every time I go and visit a book store, those authors/illustrators always pop out at me when I see them on a book. It also draws me to the book- I always read it or take a look at the pictures. That class was a great idea :)
